TEST PROCEDURE |

1. Open the card and lay it on the work surface. |
 |
2. Using an EDTA capillary tube, collect blood from either a finger or heel puncture.<br>
NOTE: Venous blood, may also be used. |
 |
3. Carefully apply blood to cover the entire PURPLE sample pad. |
 |
4. Apply two drops of Reagent A to the white pad immediately bellow where the blood was applied. |
 |
5. Apply four drops of Reagent A to the pad located at the top of the left hand side of the test card. |
 |
6. Remove and discard the adhesive liner. |
 |
7. Allow the blood sample to run up the full length of the test strip. |
 |
8. Close the card. Start timing. |

9. Read the result through the viewing window. |
