The modular design of the latest Autostainer systems allows one PC to control and run any combination of up to four modules completely independently of each other, thus providing for slide capacities ranging from 36 up to 336 slides. This feature introduces a variety of potential combinations designed to maximise the productivity possibilities for any laboratory and to provide an economical and versatile means of accommodating future needs.

Each model is provided with 2D (two-dimensional) bar-coded control for slides and reagents and with software options to inactivate part, or a;; bar-coding features.

The systems are also available without bar-coding.
